NTCSA Services

NTCSA provides resources aimed at empowering Tribal communities to improve the response to sexual assault. While direct services are not provided, we prioritize offering culturally appropriate and relevant resources. “NTCSA does not provide direct services to victims but does provide a range of services to providers. Resources are tailored to the unique needs of Tribal communities, including support for American Indian and Alaska Native men and boys, LGBTQ+ and Two-Spirit individuals, and best practices for community service.

Training and Technical Assistance

NTCSA’s Technical Assistance offers a range of education opportunities, including in-person and online training sessions, peer-to-peer consultations, on-site technical assistance, and tailored support. We’re dedicated to equipping communities with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively address sexual assault.

Speakers Bureau

The Speakers Bureau offers specialized training for Tribal communities on addressing sexual assault. We carefully select experts to deliver compelling presentations that encourage collaboration and exchange of knowledge. By promoting culturally sensitive approaches, we empower Tribes to develop sustainable strategies for prevention, intervention, and survivor support.

Preceptorship

The International Association of Forensic Nurses has partnered with Providence Health & Services and the Forensic Nurse Examiner Team of UCHealth Memorial to offer a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Preceptorship Scholarship Program. This scholarship will allow didactically prepared SANEs the opportunity to obtain clinical experience while being preceptored by an experienced SANE. This opportunity is only available to Registered Nurses.
